Cheer Extreme was started in 1993 by Betsy Smith. Through the years they have grown to one of the largest programs in the country. Currently there is 39 all-girl and 6 co-ed teams with nearly 750 athletes. Betsy owns the gym along with Courtney and Ben Pope. Courtney says, "Cheer Extreme was founded with 15 Elementary aged kids in my backyard. We represent the power of dreams, believing in the impossible and that success is always within reach. With a family atmosphere and team coaching approach we haven't forgotten a step of this journey and are proud to inspire gyms to follow their same dreams."
The team is coached by Courtney Smith-Pope and Sarah Macrow.
